Expat Insurance Thailand

Insurance in Plain English

Most people are sold a policy they never fully understood. We start with what you actually need to protect, then explain exactly what covers it — in plain language and without pressure.

What this is

This is independent, multi-carrier protection advisory for expats and families living in Thailand. We do not push the largest policy. We translate insurance into language you can make a clear decision on.

A customer never wants "a Multi-Pay Critical Illness rider." They have a worry — a hospital bill that could wipe out savings, a family left with nothing, a serious diagnosis. We name the worry first, then show the one or two things that genuinely answer it. The product is the last conversation, not the first.

Start with the worry

Common worries, and what covers them

Find the worry that matches yours. That is where the right cover begins.

"A big hospital bill could wipe me out."

HEALTH COVER — pays your hospital bills when you get sick or injured, so private-hospital costs don't become your problem.

"What if I get cancer or something serious?"

CRITICAL ILLNESS — a lump sum on diagnosis, so you can focus on getting better instead of the money.

"If something happens to me, my family has nothing."

LIFE COVER — money for the people who depend on you, so a sudden loss isn't also a financial one.

"If I'm stuck in hospital, my income stops."

HOSPITAL CASH — pays you for every night admitted, so the bills at home keep getting covered.

"My money just sits there doing nothing."

SAVINGS & INVESTMENT — plans that grow your money and protect your life at the same time.

"What will I live on when I stop working?"

RETIREMENT INCOME — a steady "salary" for later, with tax savings now.

A family spending time together — the people insurance is really about

Cover built around the people who depend on you

The right cover is ultimately about the people who depend on you, not the policy itself.

We explain the cover before we recommend it

Independent and multi-carrier: we are not tied to any single insurer, so the advice fits you, not a sales target. Every recommendation is something we can explain in one plain sentence. If it is not clear to you, we have not finished explaining it.

Length of stay

Your length of stay shapes the cover

For expats, how long you plan to stay changes the advice significantly. We do not lock a one-year assignee into a 20-year savings plan, and we do not under-protect someone who has settled here. It is the first question we ask, because the answer shapes the plan.

Short stay · Under 3 years

Annual renewable health and accident cover. No long-term lock-in. Straightforward to pause or close when you move on. We won't recommend anything that doesn't fit your horizon.

Long stay · 3–5 years or more

The full protection stack — health, critical illness, life, savings, retirement income. The longer your horizon, the more a structured plan works in your favour rather than against it.

If you are not sure how long you will stay, a 15-minute conversation is enough to map it out.

Every product, one plain line
